Butler National
Water, water everywhere. And deep bunkers. And trees. Did we mention the greens? Butler National Golf Club boasts a Fazio design pedigree reworked by Tom in 2004 to sharpen its already formidable layout. At 7500 yards this flat, dogleg-rich track favors left to right shotmaking. Here, position is everything… but the real tests are on the greens, which are fast and difficult to read. That’s one of the reasons Butler National hosted the Western Open from 1977 to 2000, and a good excuse to include a Stonehouse image of this distinguished course in your collection.
