Carnoustie
On the eastern coast of Scotland, north of Dundee and across the bay from St. Andrews, Carnoustie has played home to the British Open seven times and hosted countless rounds since it was formally constituted in 1842. It is one of the ten oldest clubs in the world, rich with things important to golf, tradition and history. Set just outside of town, Carnoustie’s gorse is as tall and solid as any building; your ball may go in but it will not come out. To play Carnoustie is to find the essence of the game, which is one of the best reasons to make this Stonehouse panoramic image part of your personal British Open collection.
