Champions
Double fairways on two holes. Water. Bunkers. Trees. Berms and knolls. There’s something for everyone on Champions Run’s well-manicured, 200-acre layout on the northwest edge of Omaha. Designed by architect Jeffrey Bauer, the course plays over 7,000 yards from the back tees, and just over 4,300 from the forward tees – again, something for everyone. Bentgrass fairways, rare in that region, weave around undulations both natural and manmade to create target play that demands careful club selection, and large greens can make approach accuracy a critical factor in scoring. This is a fair but challenging track, offering beautiful panoramic views, just like this Stonehouse image, on every hole… yes, something for everyone.
