Lahinch
In addition to being one of the oldest links courses in Ireland, Lahinch has hosted the South Irish Championship since 1895, and all of the major Irish championship tournaments since it opened as a ten-hole layout. Here you’ll find everything you’d expect from an Irish coastal course: dunes, wind, rolling greens, even a wandering herd of goats. Local legend says the Lahinch goats predict the weather; if they’re grazing the dunes, expect an agreeable day, if they lie in the shade of the clubhouse, get ready for rain. Good weather or bad, Lahinch serves up a golf experience sought by players from around the world.
