TPC Prestancia
TPC Prestancia opened in 1985 as the third private club in the TPC Network, subsequently hosting fourteen PGA TOUR events, including eight Chrysler Cup Tournaments, five American Express Invitationals and the American Express Invitational on the Champions Tour. Built on over 560 acres near Sarasota, the club boasts two tracks: the Stadium Course and the Club Course. The par-72 Stadium Course is known as a shotmaker’s course, designed with mounding around fairways and bowl-shaped greens to accommodate fan galleries. The Club Course offers a more traditional layout, and according to some players, its doglegged, tree-lined fairways and multi-tiered greens make it the more challenging of Prestancia’s two courses.
