TPC Vegas
“Desert Elegance” is the nickname often applied to this Bobby Weed-Raymond Floyd design, located just north of the glitter and glamour that marks the gaming capital of the world - Las Vegas, Nevada. TPC Las Vegas is truly a gambler’s delight, teeming with risk-reward features unique to its desert environment – rugged arroyos and moonscape barrancas, interspersed with lush green islands of safety. Floyd’s favorite hole, the par-3 No. 2, is aptly named “Canyon” due to its island green, moated by a raw, rocky gorge that was sculpted with dynamite. At 196 yards, it presents a dangerous but tempting target, reachable only with the right club and a confident swing.
