Whistling Straits
The shores of Lake Michigan are the perfect setting for both of Pete Dye’s Whistling Straits design masterpieces. The Straits course, built along two miles of shoreline, is the flagship, having hosted the PGA Championship in 2004 and the Senior U.S. Open in 2007, with more to come. Her sister course, the Irish, is just on the inland side of the Straits, and even without lake frontage, she boasts many of the same features - pot bunkers, grassy dunes and rolling greens – that grace famous British and Irish links layouts. Along with five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all handicap levels, both courses offer golf experiences to last a lifetime, enhanced by the beauty captured in these Stonehouse Collection prints.
