Hole Description
At first glance, a player might conclude that trees are the only major concern on this Donald Ross-designed course. But a 250-yard uphill second shot to the first green should dispel that misconception – Ross never designed a course with only one defense. Aronimink is a panoply of slopes, valleys, bunkers and doglegs, each designed to test the skills and endurance of even the most accomplished players. That’s why today the course’s layout retains the same basic Ross design that it had when it opened for play in 1928, and why this world-class club was chosen as the venue for the 2010 AT&T National Tournament hosted by Tiger Woods.
