Hole Description
When some Cleveland-area golfers decided they needed a better place to play in the early 60s, they hired renowned architect Harold Paddock to build Avon Oaks Country Club. In 1962 the club opened, and members discovered eighteen holes of beautifully landscaped, narrow, bluegrass fairways with fast greens, laid out over 300 acres of manicured Ohio countryside, well-adorned with oak trees. Playing at a maximum of 6,735 yards, this northern Ohio jewel accommodates both skilled and beginning players with challenges and splendid scenery sufficient to satisfy all.
