Hole Description

When it opened in 1926, this A.W. Tillinghast design was considered one of the finest courses of its day. So outstanding, in fact, that it hosted the 1928 PGA Championship, the 1932 U.S. Amateur Championship, and even the Walker Cup matches in 1965. Unlike many courses of the same vintage, this parkland layout of sweeping fairways, doglegs and mature trees hasn’t given away much to time or technology – in 2007 the East Course was named to Golf Magazine’s “Top 100 Courses in the U.S.,” and was the venue for both the 2007 and 2008 PGA Senior Players Championships.
