Hole Description
Tall pines, water and 40 sand bunkers characterize the architecture of the North Course at Atlanta’s exclusive Cherokee Town and Country Club. Built in 1955 and designed by Joe Lee, the North Course is the more difficult of the club’s two layouts - the other course, the South, is shorter and runs alongside the Chattahoochee River. Open fairways and five sets of tees encourage players of all skill levels, but small, undulating greens challenge those whose accuracy is questionable. Nevertheless, any day spent among these Georgia pines is bound to be enjoyable, as this Stonehouse panoramic image suggests.
