Hole Description

Hills, trees and water adorn the layout of this rural club, just minutes south of Chicago. Begun by the three Coghill brothers in 1926, today the club includes four 18-hole courses, the last of which, the championship “Dubsdread,” opened in 1964. The challenge of this Dick Wilson-designed, 6900-yard track drew the attention of the Western Golf Association in 1991, when it became host of the Western Open, and continued when the event changed its name to the BMW Championship in 2007. Though a private club, Cog Hill welcomes public play on any of its scenic courses.
