Hole Description
It’s the oldest golf course in Dallas, built as a six-hole layout in 1896 and redesigned in 1908 by Tom Bendelow, the “Johnny Appleseed of American golf,” whose resumé includes Medinah Country Club and East Lake in Atlanta. Playing at 6,266 yards, DCC’s tree-lined fairways are narrow alleys of opportunity, leading to well-maintained greens, defended by numerous sand bunkers and several water hazards. One of the Lone Star State’s most exclusive venues, Dallas Country Club has been rejuvenated by redesigns from Ralph Plummer and Jay Moorish since it moved to its present location.
