Hole Description
Built on a dairy farm pasture and an adjacent brickyard, City Park Golf Course in Denver was one of the country’s longest courses (6,700 yards) when it was officially dedicated in 1913. Today City Park plays to over 6,300 yards, and is considered a challenging municipal layout, with tight, tree-lined fairways and sloping, bunkered greens. Located only five minutes from downtown Denver, the course offers scenic views of the downtown skyline as well as the snow-capped peaks of the Rockies, and is only a short walk from the Denver Zoo and the Museum of Natural History. The mile-high city’s first municipal links continues to be a favorite with locals and visitors.
