Hole Description
The French Creek watershed in Chester County has attracted attention since the Revolutionary War, when General Washington and his troops rested and rearmed themselves in the vicinity. In 2003 the French Creek Golf Club opened for play, and links-style golf became the prevalent activity amid the rolling hills, brooks and woods that had sheltered soldiers and settlers in colonial days. Designed by Gil Hanse, the course features four sets of tees on 240 acres - a scenic, yet challenging test built with minimal environmental alteration.
