Hole Description
History, natural beauty and a wonderful Tom Fazio design converged on the 267-acre Hudson National site to create one of the top 100 Golf Courses in America, according to Golf Digest. But the process wasn't easy. Over 130,000 tons of rock had to be blasted away to form this 7,100-yard traditional layout, on property which Fazio himself described as "previously unworkable." At an average height of 450 feet above the Hudson River, the site was used by Washington and his troops as a lookout point, and today the spectacular river views still draw the attention of members and guests, especially from the renovated 22,500-square-foot mansion clubhouse. Open since 1996, Hudson National is only 45 minutes from Manhattan.
