Hole Description
Friday, July 15, 2005, was a historic day in golf; it was the day Jack Nicklaus bid farewell to the Open Championship as a player. The famed “Golden Bear,” whose career includes 114 professional wins, 73 PGA Tour wins, 18 Major victories and 3 Open wins, chose to end his competitive Open career at St Andrews, and Stonehouse photographer Patrick Drickey, commissioned as Nicklaus’s official tournament photographer, was there to capture the occasion. You can share that historic moment – with Jack on the green at No. 1, or following his final birdie at 18 – through Stonehouse panoramic images, complete with Jack’s reproduced autograph, his Golden Bear logo and an official Open logo. Truly one of golf’s special memories.
