Hole Description
It’s not old, but it is historic; the K Club Golf Resort is the first Irish course to host the Ryder Cup. Its Arnold Palmer design pedigree ensured the venue would accommodate hordes of spectators while it challenged players in what has become one of golf’s major rivalries. Playing 7,335 yards from the tips for the 2006 event, this parkland layout presented a beguiling mixture of manicured fairways, trees, water, and a peppering of bunkers to confound the ambitions of both teams - and despite foul weather, the Europeans emerged victorious. Today K Club is an international attraction for the Emerald Isle, luring golfers from around the world eager to play one of Ireland’s most challenging inland layouts.
