Hole Description
Against the deafening roar of the waters of Niagara Falls one can barely hear the crowd cheers at the Porter Cup Tournament, held annually at the Niagara Falls Country Club. Beginning in 1959, Porter Cup founder Dick Harvey brought the nation’s top amateur players together for one of the country’s leading events, dedicated to the betterment of the game and the western New York golfing community. Today Niagara Falls CC challenges players with more than 90 sand bunkers, the legacy of original course designer A.W. Tillinghast, whose brilliant work in 1919 has been periodically updated by legends Robert Trent Jones, Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva.
