Hole Description
No collection of golf images is complete without at least one of Stonehouse’s breathtaking panoramic photographs of Oakmont Country Club. Renowned for hosting more major championships than any other course in the U.S., Oakmont was the site of Johnny Miller’s sensational score of 63, the “greatest round of the 20th century,” in the final round of the 1973 U.S. Open. Narrow fairways and hard, fast greens share the spotlight with Oakmont’s 210 deep bunkers, the most notable of which are the famous Church Pews on the left side of Number 3 fairway.
