Hole Description
Founded in 1898 as a cricket club, Omaha Field Club built its golf course in 1902, becoming one of Omaha’s foremost private athletic clubs, with facilities for tennis, bowling and baseball. By 1905, the Field Club was hosting the first Nebraska State Golf Championship, and more events would follow, including the National Amateur Tournament in 1941, Men’s State Tournament in 1960, and the Women’s State Tournament. In 1997, Field Club hosted the Women’s Trans National Senior International Four-ball. Home course of 1937 U.S. Open Amateur Champion Johnny Goodman, Field Club boasts a rich heritage as well as one of Omaha’s premiere private courses.
