Hole Description
The decision to build this golf course in Southampton, NY, wasn’t a spur-of-moment choice, especially given that its site lies between the world-famous Shinnecock Hills and the legendary National Golf Links. But developer Mike Pascucci saw opportunity, and he bought the 300 acres of prime Hamptons real estate before hiring two of the world’s best-known course designers – Jack Nicklaus and Tom Doak – to fashion this award-winning layout. Sebonack opened for play in 2006 to rave reviews (“America’s Best New Private Course” – Golf Digest), a 7,400-yard tour de force of oceanfront play, also tapped to host the 2013 U.S. Women’s Open.
