Hole Description
Set in the Sonoran Desert and surrounded by the majestic McDowell Mountains, TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course plays host to the PGA Tour's FBR Open. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Moorish, the Stadium Course features extensive mounding and bunkering to test the PGA's best. The 16th holds the distinction of being one of the rowdiest holes in golf - originally made famous in 1997 when the hole was characterized as a "ticker tape parade" after Tiger Woods holed his tee shot and was greeted with a deafening roar by the enthusiastic patrons.
