Hole Description
The characteristics Arnold Palmer brought to professional golf – audacity, creativity, relentless confidence – he instilled in his 1984 design Of Tralee Golf Club on the coast of southwest Ireland. Located on 165 acres, Tralee beguiles as it challenges; stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Dingle Peninsula and the Slieve Mish Mountains easily distract players from the task at hand: two distinctly different nines that play almost like separate courses. The outer nine hugs the rugged coastline, beckoning shots alongside clifftop perches and across wave-pounded rocks. The inner nine plunges between windswept dunes, testing courage as much as skill in an acclaimed risk-reward layout. Small wonder Tralee images are among the most popular in the Stonehouse Irish Collection.
