Firm fairways, sodwalled bunkers, sand dunes, gorse and subtle greens are all part of the Waterville experience, which, at 7200 yards, requires length as well as skill to maneuver. Unlike most links layouts, Waterville offers no blind shots - just flat fairways with few doglegs, but bump-and-run skills are mandatory if you hope to score well. Yes, that’s links golf.
